Oxygen set up

Post by LeeH » Fri Sep 14, 2018 3:46 pm

So I’m just looking through my b day present, and the hose seems to be a problem.

The hose fits the diffuser but the reg (which seems to be commonly used in the brewing scene) has a tiny barb.

Now I looked at fitting a 8mm x1/4 BSP fitting but inside there is a small diffuser also.

What did other folks do?

How much do you use?

They sell the small cans on Ebay and it works out at about £1 per litre.

It could be an expensive way to boost your fermentation if you need a few litres each time.

I set flow rate to 1 litre per minute for 1 minute. The cylinder in the photo has lasted a lot of brews. I haven't been counting

If you right click on your image, you should get an option to "copy image address".

You then need to use the full editor, then click on the insert image icon, then you should get this "Image ", paste the image address in the space between the square brackets.

Oxygen set up

Post by LeeH » Sat Sep 15, 2018 4:57 am

That’s perfect! I’ll make one just like that, thanks for your help.

So the little filter and spring made no difference?

Do you boil your stone of just soak it in star san?

I rinse it with water after use and spray with starsan before use
