I had no luck on my old buffalo boiler with an STC. It always went over it’s SP.

But yes stirring is key as I found out.

Well I'm going to give it ago. Not to fused about the electrics as I do it for a job.

Yes there could be overshoot but will not help by still water. Even with a PID controller you would need to agitate the water for best results.

Something near for the HLT.
AnY type of control on my FV is better than none !
