The temperature sensor on one of my STC 1000's is broken.
The only replacement's I can find online are about £5, which seems ludicrous as a new controller can be got for £12.
As these are only cheap thermistor's, does anyone know the spec so I can get one from RS or similar?

You could buy a new STC for a fiver on Amazon and keep the spare if you can wait for postage.

Re: STC 1000 - Replacement sensor
There are a couple of important characteristics for the NTC probe, one is the nominal resistance and the other is the beta value (which indicates how the resistance changes with temperature). I believe the STC expects a sensor of 10k and a beta value of 3435.
