First copy the address you want to paste from the browser bar at the top of the screen showing whatever you want to link to.
Then make sure you're using 'full editor' and not 'quick reply' and write your post.
Then highlight the word or words you want to use to carry the link. Click on the little chain icon at the top of the box you're typing into. The word(s) will now have two square brackets showing, one at the beginning, one at the end. The first has url in it, the second has /url in it. In the first one type = after url
Then paste your link after the =. The word(s) will be highlighted in blue and clicking on them will take you to the web page.
Sounds fiddly, but it's a doddle once you're used to it. There's probably other ways to do it, this is just the way I do it.
