Ok so I’m planning on getting a corny and hopefully I can find a co2 supplier at the moment.
Question-can it ALL go in the fridge? I.e. everything?
I don’t want to put the corny in the brewfridge really, I’d like to put a stronger shelf in the larder fridge and put it in there but the larder fridge is brand new and I really don’t want to drill into it at all.
Can I keep everything inside? I’m hoping to put two in there and a small bottle of co2, keep two brews of cider on the go at anyone time.
Is this possible?
Corny and co2 in fridge?
Re: Corny and co2 in fridge?
Yes, if space inside isn't an issue, then put the CO2 cylinder in there too. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want to.
Re: Corny and co2 in fridge?
I’ve got 2 cornies and a 1.5kg co2 bottle in my fridge and it’s always been fine.
Some say it can cause problems with the regulator (I assume condensation) but I’ve never had a problem.

I use a 2 soda stream co2 bottles and 2 19l corny s in the bottom of a American style fridge freezer and still can fit the family shopping for six of us in the fridge freezer

Re: Corny and co2 in fridge?
that's my aim, I'd ideally like 2 cornys in there, bottling is a pain in the arse. Most kits seem to be 23l, so i'll stick 19 in the corny then bottle the remaining 4, easy. Or at least easier!
My larder fridge is probably a little wider than yours but a bit shorter, hopefully I can make it work.
Now I've just got to find all the kit I need!
and a C02 supply.....is it easier to just use soda stream? will this give me a nice fizzy cider?
Re: Corny and co2 in fridge?
Just be aware that corny kegs (unless you ask David Heath ) come in two different widths, it usually makes a big difference to the number of them that you can fit in the fridge.
