About ten years ago, I bought an ATC-800+ from Forttex, but never got around to building a fermentation fridge in which to use it. Now I have a conical fermenter and glycol chiller, it's unlikely to ever be used for that. However, I've built myself a kegerator, so I want to use the controller to keep that at a steady temperature.
Can I use the ATC-800+ just to cool, or will it only work if it has a heat source to run as weĺl? My knowledge of electrics and electronics is not great and It appears Forttex are long gone, so I can't ask them!
Thanks!

It'll be fine just ignore the contacts for heating

I've been using an stc-1000 for years in my keg fridge without a heating element plugged in
Cheers Tom
