steralising cornies with bleech

Post by bod » Sat Jun 17, 2006 1:25 pm

i havent managed to get my hands on the betadine stuff yet, so i was wondering if its ok to use bleech to steralise my kegs with bleech just this once?

i know i have to keep the contact time to a minimum with VWP as chlorine damages SS as it pits the surface, so is this the same with bleech? is it not recomended? has anyone done it? can i ask any more questions in one post? does the moon exist or is it just a figment of our imagination?

cool, thats what i thought! i guessed that VWP and bleech are essentially the same thing, and the instructions on VWP state its safe to use on SS with a short contact time.

plus, i actually own a bit of the moon. one square acre to be precise. its amazing what you can buy these days for 30 quid.
