Liquid dropper

Post by dwhyte » Fri Aug 28, 2009 7:27 pm

Hi all,

Just got a bottle of Videne and looking to use as a no rinse solution. Have read the posts about 1.25ml to 1litre usage. That's correct for a no rinse sanitiser?
Question is, how do you measure 1.25ml?

Cheers,
Dave

Using a medical syringe - you can buy them from pharmacies. If you can get a 1.25ml one then that would be convenient - I use a 2.5ml one, and swear when I have to make 3 litres using 1 1/2 syringe-worths.

I use plastic disposable graduated pipettes. They come in boxes of a thousand...

Just been to Boots and got a couple of medicine syringes (1ml) for £1.20 each.
Paragon Advanced Oral Dosing Pack.
Job done.

When I told my local tesco pharmacist i needed a calibrated dropper to measure out 1.25ml he laughed and said that they werent accurate. he then gave me a couple of 1mill syringes free of charge!

Well done Cully, my Boots guy didn't!

How are you finding Videne as a sanitiser if that's what you are using?
