Post by Rowang » Wed Oct 27, 2010 1:55 pm

Hi Guys,

Iv run out of VWP, and I want to get a mead on the go tonight... I have thin value bleach and campden tablets... which is the best to use as a sanitiser?

Cheers!

I would use a 1% solution of bleach (1ml/Ltr of water) in your DJ. I would then make up a solution of 5 campden tabs to 100mls of water and rinse your dj with that to neutralise the chlorine!

*small warning - if you have asthma or any such issues avoid the fumes from the campden at that concentration.
It will leave you struggling for several hours...
