De-odourising a keg

Post by guypettigrew » Sat Feb 04, 2012 1:27 pm

A short while ago I had to ditch a batch because it smelled of phenol. Horrible!

The keg has been soaked in VWP, then rinsed out really well. I can still detect the phenol, so I'm certainly not putting anything else in there until it smells sweet again.

Anyone got any idea how I can de-odourise the keg, please? It's a bottom tap King Keg.

Thanks.
