Well, I never got round to binning the bottles and in desperation opened one tonight. The metallic, acidic after taste has completely vanished and it's a decent, but not great brew. Opened a second bottle and tasted great too, same with the third. Makes me regret binning the keg of the other brew I thought was ruined. I've now got a new resolution, until I need bottles or a keg, nothing gets binned, no matter how bad it is.
