Hi all, This is my cleaning regime for equipment :!: i.e FV's a quick wash out with hot soapy water, measure 2L of water with 2.5ml of Videne solution into FV a quick wash around covering full FV & lid ! I always rinse with cold water ! but some say at 1.25ml of videne per litre of water there is no need to rinse ! I always do its just force of habit  Never had any problems with off beers etc ! I always keep a 1L spray bottle with 1.25ml videne in to spray spoons and paddles and hydrometers prior to taking gravity readings  I think some folks take sanitation to the extreme  Not sure if thats down to Noobs reading up and panicking about making sure everything is sterilised.

Just my tupence worth

Cheers DC
