Guys just quick question about cleaning foam.

Hi guys really beginner question. Fermentation was going strong-foam everywhere, so I took the lid off cleaned and sanitized airlock put some vodka in and back on. Did like this about four times. Fermenter was open during my cleaning manipulations. How bad is it?

No problem, foam everywhere is the key, you'll be fine but only play with it when absolutely necessary, hard I know.

Ive just had to do the same as the lid that sits loosely over my ferm bucket has been sitting on about two inches of foam. I havent cleaned it as i cant put it back on till the foam subsides, Im just hoping nothing gets in while im waiting...
