ok so i have bought a woodford werry kit, i have a number of bottles spitfire etc and need to steralise before i start any general tips ? should i remove the labels ?

Make your kit up in the FV, leave for a few weeks then worry about the bottles closer to the time.
To prep the bottles, mix up a bleach & water solution (i go roughly 1 part bleach 2/3 part water) and put 100mlish in each bottle. Give them all a good shake and leave for 10 minutes then rinse out, fill with beer, prime, cap. simples :)

ok thanks for the quick reply what about the labels what is the best way remove?

A soak in hot water will remove most labels (they drop off on shepherds neame bottles), some bottles are a pain so i just throw them.

I just fill them with beer - drink beer - clean 'em - fill with beer... etc. :)
