Does anyone know if Sorgene 5 can be used as a sanitiser for my corny kegs etc? It's used by farmers locally as a disinfectant etc for milking equipment.

If this is HPPA (acetic acid with hydrogen peroxide then you can sanitise anything with it. They recommend diluting to 1:200, but loads of guys locally use 1:100 for brewing purposes.

The best thing is it is non-rinse and won't contaminate beer.

BE extremely careful of the neat stuff as it causes burns. Wear gloves, long sleeves and goggles when handling neat!

Thanks, on the website it says "a stabilised blend of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide" so I guess that's the same stuff.

That's the stuff! Excellent sanitisers, and it smells like it's killing things! Just remember safety when it's neat. It's totally safe once diluted and I would dilute it at 1:100 for brewing.
