Didn't notice that; I wonder if they mean just plain/carbon steel or 'any' steel... I guess plastic is the most prevalent material in home-brewing but copper and stainless steel are pretty common too.

Yes, if it does mean stainless I'd not really have a use for this one. I don't sanitise my boiler (theres no need really) but I do use it as a sort of hopper to hold sanitiser whilst I recirculate it through all the post-boil tubes and pump.. which also include quite costly stainless camlocks... and some of my FVs are stainless too; even the plastic ones have stainless fittings/taps etc.
