cleaning sterilising barrel

Post by Belto » Thu Jun 14, 2007 1:21 pm

I have just finished drinking a brew and washed all remains of previous brew.
I then rinsed with idophor and the results were purple /moave areas mainly on surface line of the previous brew .
I then soaked in Soda crystals which removed most of the stains .
On rinsing again with Idophor there still remains some coloured stains.
Can I consider this barrell safe to store/dispense my beer?
