My tesco water starsan has gone cloudy following my first use. I'm guessing its due to the normal tap water used to clean everything before sanitising. Not fussed as I'm sure it'll still be fine.

Hi Dave.
Surprised at that.

Did you use Ashbeck still water
or (filtered) value still water?

I use both of these and they don't go cloudy with me.

Tippler wrote:I am just starting to use Star San as well, and with my tap water (pH 7 or a bit more) it clouds straight away, but seems to work. The local mineral water has a pH of 6.5, or I could just use distilled water. Which would be best to use?
Go back through the thread Tippler, cloudiness isn't necessarily a problem the pH of the resultingsolution is what's key. Take a look at the photo I posted, cloudy starsan, but crucially under pH 3 :D . It is of course possible that cloudy starsan is above pH 3 but you will need to check to be sure.
