Just spoken to Evans
V18 is an acidified sanitiser which contains 1.8% w/w povidone iodine.
As supplied it has a ph of 0.7 and diluted 1/250 a ph of 2.5.
Fam 30 is also an acidified sanitiser which contains 3% w/w povidone iodine. As suppied it has a ph of 0.1 and diluted 1/180 a ph of 2.1.
Bufferdine is a fish egg wash which has no acidic ingredients so to speak.
It contains 1% povidone iodine and has a ph of 6.
They would recommend none are used as no rinse and residue should be rinsed with water. I do this with boiling water anyway!
Am I right in thinking that because the iodine concentration is lower I will be using more of these products as compared to Videne which is 10%w/w
