Because you can turn cornies (5G ish) upside down I fill to halfway, add 6-8 tbsp of soda crystals, shake, and leave each way up for 10 minutes.
I like soda crystals 'cos they seem to rinse off quite readily. After rinsing I do the same but with 15ml of Iodophor. Before all this I've rinsed well, and after I've just let drip a bit then filled as at the Iodophor concentration the stuff is non-rise.
