S & N Plastic Crates

Post by pas8280 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:05 pm

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a dozen or so red S & N plastic beer crates (with a promise of a few more) however they are rather manky :( i have tried power washing but apart from getting myself drenched that wasnt very effective The wife is out Saturday and was thinking of sticking a few in the bath and soaking them in something / has anyone any idea's :?: :?:

A strong soda crystal solution might do the trick.

Scrub 'em with soda crystals. how clean do they need to be?

I use mine as crates and steps in turn!

I haven't seen any for a while, sorry. Either you see a seller on eBay with thousands or none at all :(

Beers of Europe sell 'em for a reasonable price if you contact them :)

Multi trip crate (£7 each plus delivery). These hold 20 Magners cider bottles perfectly and they stack as well
He just sent me a few and only wanted paying by cheque once I received them so I didn't have to pay VAT on the sale.
Tried beers of europe but got no reply from several e-mails.

One word of advice. There is a flat rate of £10 for overnight shipping that covers up to twelve crates. So get as many as you need in one go.

The Multi trip crate as previously mentioned is the one to go for. However worth noting that you get around 12 distinct bottle sections and 4 double ones. I think they are good value for money. The service is excellent. I called yesterday and they were here today. I would recommend them.
