Sterilising Copper with Bleach

My pump cant/doesnt like handling boiling liquids.
can i use bleach to sterilise a CFC?
just asking cos i think i read somewhere you cant.

Agree with Daab about the bleach with copper. Just use the hottest water you're able, a good strong carbonate cleaner and the Iodophor sanitiser. Bleach is also a no-no with stainless steel, it will corrode and pit the metal.

Soda crystals and iodophor it is then 8)

I'm wondering, at what point did I decided to clean my stainless taps differently to my cornies :oops:
