Greetings all, I've still not got my arse into gear and made a AG brew (thats all I ever used to brew about 20 odd years ago mmmm hops) but I still enjoy reading the posts. Anyway i've got a question to ask, I know that home brewers dont slosh the mash around with their hands in it or touching taps etc, but if for some reason they did whats the best way to sanitise the hands before starting to brew? I can't imagine using liquid or solid soap.

You can't effectively sanitize your hands. That's why surgeons wear gloves. 
If you happen to use videne, you could do what surgeons *do* do, which is to scrub your hands with it. However, just making sure your hands are very clean is generally fine.
Remember, your mash tun doesn't need to be sanitized, nor do hands that handle it. Same with the boiler. Only things that need to be sterile are post-boil surfaces/vessels, and you certainly shouldn't be touching your wort.
