Re: first time brew
Make your kit up in the FV, leave for a few weeks then worry about the bottles closer to the time.
To prep the bottles, mix up a bleach & water solution (i go roughly 1 part bleach 2/3 part water) and put 100mlish in each bottle. Give them all a good shake and leave for 10 minutes then rinse out, fill with beer, prime, cap. simples
Good luck

Re: first time brew
ok thanks for the quick reply what about the labels what is the best way remove?
Re: first time brew
A soak in hot water will remove most labels (they drop off on shepherds neame bottles), some bottles are a pain so i just throw them.

I just fill them with beer - drink beer - clean 'em - fill with beer... etc.gnutz2 wrote: some bottles are a pain so i just throw them.
