I've just been given a bottle of short date (for them, end of Oct 2012) 'Ecolab Videne Surgical Scrub'
Can anyone confirm this is the same stuff I can use as a no rinse sanitiser? If so, what is a suitable dilution, 1ml per L?
Videne help, please

Re: Videne help, please
Thanks Aleman. Hello no more endless rinsing.

Re: Videne help, please
The surgical scrub is foaming. The antiseptic solution drains better.
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget
Re: Videne help, please
Whilst I've been using Videne at 1.25ml per litre of water for over 6 months now and had zero infections or issues I was wondering about the following:
1) What contact time is required
2) How long is the solution effective for. i.e. How long does it store once made into solution and how can you tell if it's lost it's power? Colour?

In theory, iodine-based sanitiser can stored/re-used until it loses its colour.

the surgical scrub has less iodine, 7.5% rather than 10%
