What is the difference please between Star San and Saniclean? Saniclean says low foam, I can see that might be an advantage if I ever sprayballed a vessel.
Seems to be a big difference in cost, do you use them at different dilution rates?
Which is best please?
Star San , Saniclean, what is the difference?

You use saniclean at a slightly higher dilution rate so the cost difference is a bit less than you'd imagine at first - 1oz in 3 us-gallons rather than in 5 us-gallons.
Which is best depends on your application: if you're manually spraying or swishing it around then the foaming action of starsan helps it cling longer and increases contact time, which is good. If you're doing something that creates far too much foam (like CIP or cleaning rotating equipment) then the lower-foaming saniclean is best.
