Hmmm I'd be seriously surprised if that was caused by bad sanitation - looks mor like an over priming problem? How did you prime them?

It could be:
Over priming
Wild yeast infection
Bottling prior to primary fermentation being complete
Bacterial infection
The obvious question is what does it taste like?
I have a Thornbridge Kipling clone that is well wild when the bottle is opened but tastes great which I suspect is a wild yeast

I dumped this bottle, but the rest of the brew is really tasty. Has an excellent head. Really delicious beer. Best I've done I reckon.
