Hi all been away from home brewing for some time and have just about rebuilt the brewery after moving house. Some fittings are brass and new some copper parts are old and I have a plate chiller that's greenish blue colour I also have a few Ali pots with burnt on sugar patches what's the best way to clean it all? For the plate chiller could
I put it in the over for a few hours we also have a mircowaveable baby bottle steriliser where you put water in the bottom for steam could I use this on the brewery bits? Thank Andy

I wouldnt put the plate chiller anywhere near the oven until you have soaked / pumped alot of liquid through the thing. Otherwise anything thats in there ie old wort etc will just cook / bake on the inside.
