Just housekeeping and cleaning out the bottles recently supped from and not rinsed out, i used a tiny amount of £shop wizz laundry oxy in warm water in each bottle and fliped the lids up n sealled and forgot about em..
i normally am pretty good about rinsing out me bottles and standing em to dry so all are ready for a bulk soak when used for a brew, but these had been missed as some allways are..
after 20 mins or so BANG!!!!,, and a kitchen covered in glass, i quickly released the lids of the remaining bottles,
Im sure ive done this many times before with all sorts of effervessing cleaning products over the years, ive been bottling in x-grolsh flip tops since i retired the corona bottles..
tho i think i will stick to the bulk soaks from now on..

Re: Bottle went BANG!
I have heard of bottle bombs from bottling too early or over priming, but this is a new one on me. Thanks for sharing I will remember for future reference.
Re: Bottle went BANG!
I wonder if this might just have been a damaged or flawed bottle?
Even so, caution is wise :-)
