Post by ianh82 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 12:25 pm

hi

i have a small keg and a king keg. the small keg hasn't been used for sometime and was a bit mouldy and have stains around the sides from the past brew. whats the easiest way of cleaning it, i don't have a long brush.

i have oxy sterilising solution.

I would have a go at soaking it with oxy and water from the hot tap. Put the cap on and give it a good shake.

USe the oxy and stuff a couple of dish cloths inside, when you are swirling the water round the cloths will clean the inside and remove the loosened gunk from the sides.

Caustic soda crystals made up strong with cold water will shift the muck - and kill everything within 100 miles ;)
If I had all the money I've spent on drink...I'd spend it on drink.
