De-scaling a copper cylinder

Post by BurtonBrewer » Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:19 pm

"Help" as any one had the experiance of cleaning/de-scaling a copper cylinder. Its been working in the airing cupboard since 1972 and Im sure il need about 758 packs of kettle descaler to clean it. Alternativly there's the central heating cleaner you can buy from screwfix, is it effective enough to use as a food safe cleaner? Im looking to use the old copper cylinder for a boiler in a new brewery.
Cheers Steve
