The Great British Brew-off?
Anyone interested?
"Masters of Brewing (working title) is a brand new competition format for a major streaming platform. We have partnered with a leading global beer company and are looking for pairs of brewers to take part. If you legally reside in the UK, Italy, Belgium, France or the Netherlands regularly brew beer and are aged 25 or over we want to hear from you. We are welcoming applications from homebrewers and those that own small breweries.
Teams should be confident brewing a range of beers as the series will involve taking part in multiple brewing challenges across five episodes....."

Nice find, anyone planning on entering?

Excellent idea. Why didn't we see it coming!
Re: The Great British Brew-off?
That will be interesting to watch. Difficult for many to enter with work schedules I suspect.

Just a thought...
If you are a brewer get your supplies in just before this airs
If you are a HBO stock up now, this show could start a great boost to your business

Re: The Great British Brew-off?
Sadly watched two of the five episodes last night.
What can I say.
Blunt brings absolutely nothing to the table....is utterly wooden and lacks any sort of gravitas whatsoever.
As i understand it, the five teams were made to brew the five beers across 5 days and then 5 weeks or so later everyone met together to film the tastings and other miscellaneous rubbish that is included to make up 5 40 minute programs.
Based on what I've seen some of the folks brewing are not homebrewers, or have extremely limited brewing experience, but have joined up with a mate who does brew. Even then some of the mistakes seem to be those that beginners make. I've not bothered to watch episodes 3,4 or 5...there appears to be nothing in the program for even remotely serious homebrewers.
If any of them manage to brew a decent beer it will be in spite of the obstacles that the program format places on them.
Sadly this was a missed opportunity and the program does absolutely nothing to showcase half decent brewing talent and highlight the quality of beer that it is possible to produce in your own kitchen, shed or garage.

That’s a shame, although I will probably still check out an episode out of curiosity, I won’t blame you for losing a small part of my life! ![](https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji6.png)
