Leedsbrew's Bag End Ale.
Hard to describe the aroma, the Taste is very different Lemon, Wood, Orange. I've got some Green Bullet in the freezer.
Otherwise a quite sweet body and subtle carbonation.
Thanks for introducing me to a new hop flavour :)
No pictures tonight as I'd rather enjoy the beer without the distraction while waiting for the Curry Delivery ;)

Opened with a good hiss, and a rise of foam. Poured with a very compact sediment. Crystal clear.

The 1st thing that hits you is the aroma coming from the glass. I've never had Aurora, Beeta, or Celeia hops before, but I will definitely be getting some. Definite tropical fruits and lemon coming from the Aurora and Celia. The super styrians I think dominate this beer but that is not a bad thing.

Ade did tell me that this was Uber bitter. He's not wrong but I love it. I have so far failed to get something this bitter so will definitely be trying this recipe.

I could quite easily drink a few of these.

Cheers Ade

Hey, glad you liked it.. at our house warming I was surprised how popular this one was.
I think I got the Beeta & Celeia from http://www.homebrewcentregy.com/Hops.html and the Aurora from BB.
If I were to brew this malt bill again I would change it and add maybe 20-or-so-% Pale Malt as the efficiency was pretty pants with so much Munich.

Leedsbrew's Summer Gold

Quite simply a Hearty Golden Goldings pint, lovely :)
Nice subtle carbonation and nicely balanced malt to hops with a nice body.
I'm guessing the Styrians have had some time to mature as their fresh zing has mellowed nicely :)

Leedsbrew's Peat Smoked Porter

I like this because it is subtle, it adds just that hint of smoke.
Very nice well balanced Porter / Stout.
An excellent beer :)

pdtnc's AG#25 'MAY DAY'

Image

A very nice, light ale with a lovely red huge. Delivate bitterness with soft floral notes coming from the mainly lager hops. This is definitely a beer I could sit and drink on a hazy summer, bbq day. Looking at the recipe here, I'm not sure what the mild ale malt has brought to the beer but like Ade says, it was a user upper. The cara-red has certainly done it's job.

Another fine ale Ade :D Cheers matey!

Cheers :)
When fresh and only in the bottle 1-2 weeks the dry hopping from the Mittlefruh worked really, I'll be making this again without the Mild Ale Malt and maybe double the dry hopping or extend the time of dry hopping.

I'm looking for someone (preferably with tastebuds that work) to taste my Coopers wheat beer that I made with captured Schneider Weisse yeast - It's not what i was expecting and a second opinion would be good before dumping the batch (which means passing to my cousin's husband :) )

A review of 196osh`s IPA.
As soon as the bottled was cracked the aroma hit you like steam train, a really nice hoppy aroma.
The taste wasn`t dissapointing either, this was absolutley just brimming with flavour, and a really nice
bitter finish, the mouthfeel was really good to.
This was one of those beers that you wouldn`t just gulp down, savouring every mouthful and letting it linger before
taking another sip.
This is probably one of the best IPA`s i`ve had and that includes commercial ones but saying that i hav`nt tried that many.
Cracking beer, it gets a 10 out of 10 off me =D>

Mattypower's beer... we've just done a bottle swap.
Its says 'Choo' on the crown cap.
An almost red colour, loads of body and rich sweetness with a caramel maltiness. Fairly fruity but I can't guess at the hops.
Not bad, could just use a bit of head :)

Was meant to say choc! base was MO 90%, then 5% wheat, 4% crystal colur 400 and then 1% choc hops were First Gold! All organic from work!! That head does look pretty poor! Looking forward to drinking some of yours tonight!!!

Glad I spotted the Caramel maltiness from the Crystal 400 and surprised that the 1% was actually noticeable :)

Mattypower's Black 8.5% Stout
Opened with a subtle psst, poured fairly lively with a head that came and went, Aroma quite chocolatey, again chocolatey on the taste with quite a bit of sweetness followed by the hop bitterness and subtle carbonation, pretty drinkable for 8.5% :)
I'd guess at Chocolate malt & Black malt, and hops the same as the last one First Gold.
