I was looking for a "show us your beer" type section/thread but couldn't find one. (please merge if there is)

I have just started drinking a York Brewery Yorkshire Terrior bitter.....

Image

Its a nice tasting pint but sadly it doesn't hold its head that well but that could be down to whatever sugar I use.d (sadly I forgot to write it down) York Brewery kits are one can kits but come with hops and arn't made in the normal way.

I had asked my local shop (Morley HB) to look at stocking them but they where quoted a pound more than a premium kit retails for to buy them in which is nuts.

I would do another if I could buy the kit for £12'13 and would use spray malt light I'd also give it a good two months before drinking.

Nobody uses this thread?

The Yorkshire Terrior needed another week and turned into a very nice pint.

I'm now drinking a Tom Caxton bitter that I startedon the 18th of April.....

Manx Guy's AG #4 Vienna Lager -Rapid Wien

Image

Image

See: A cracking deep gold to copper colour with apropriate carbonation with an ever so slightly off white head that stayed till the bitter end! Clear but a slight yeast haze poured out as the sediment was not stable. Also in the pics above the glass has a layer of condensation.:D
Aroma: Nice lager type aroma, very slight sulphur. Slight Hallertau H aroma.
Taste: Nicely balanced with a dryish finish. Malty but not overly sweet.
Mouthfeel: medium bodym, almost velvety with the carbonation, a nice lace that held till the end.

Overall this was a great beer I could quite easily drink a shed load of, and for AG#4 mate =D> =D> =D> =D> well done! loved it

Nice looking brew Leedsbrew.

Brewmaker Victorian Bitter...

I made this with 1kg beerkit enhancer about a month ago. the taste is fantastic but it has too much life in to pour in one try. I like it so I'm trying another with 500g Amber Malt and 500g BS.

A brand new beer for me....

St Peter's Golden Ale...

Image

Started on the 30th April and bottled on 09/05...

The taste and aroma of this beer is amazing. this is my 22nd kit and I'd say its about the best I've done so far.

Hey Uncle Joshua,

this looks crackin'. Did you add any extras to this or is it the kit as is??

Thanks

The beer with 'CG' scrawled on the cap by The Mumbler

Poured with a fair fizz and a good head on Dark Copper brown.
The aroma makes me think of Sugars and Belgian beers.
Tastes like its got some almost burnt (just slightly) candy sugar, alcohol warmth at the back of the throat, I can't pick out a specific dark malt.
Body is light with the effervescence of the carbonation making it easy drinking.
Maybe some Clove, initial slight Green Apple but not so much as to make you think it was a fault.

I've taken my time getting round to drinking these, I think the Porter (marked P) is next.

Cheers, that will be the confused goat. I haven't sampled any of yours, so you're ahead of the game :).

Funnily enough I was just thinking about trying to do something along the lines of your pale oat recipe from Saltaire as I grabbed some Nelson Sauvin from LHB today.

Another bottle from TheMumbler, Cap marked 'P'
Smelt good pouring, the bottle was a bit of a Gusher, poured with a lovely light tan head.
Some Smokiness in there, a fair fizz on the tongue, something slightly like Liquorice / Aniseed...

Not bad, could use a little more body and a bit less fizz.

:)
