Don't chill mine down too much - the aroma doesn't come through so well when its too cold.

I used WLP001

the aroma doesn't come through so well when its too cold.

I only really chill beer down a couple of degrees below room temp so no worries.

I'll split mine into two, One half will go into the cool and the other will be drunk at room temperature.

I started to think it could have been my glass but I made sure I cleaned and rinsed it thoroughly - hmmm back to the drawing board

What dose did you use? the usual 1/2 per 25l?

Do you think it could be the product of them reacting with Chlorine I can taste? I'm not sure of the exact chemistry.

I use the tablets too but I can't taste this taste in my brew, could it be that your chlorine levels are higher than mine?

I didn't use any campden tabs, theres no detectable chlorine/chloramine in my water... I hope

could it be that your chlorine levels are higher than mine?

Quite high levels here...you can smell it in a glass of drinking water...quite strongly
