(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

BM,
I am in Bramley, just north of Basingstoke and I have just received a water report from them.
I will scan the report and get it loaded as soon as I can but if you need anything specific just give me a shout.
The reprot is for Jan1 - Dec 31 2006. I cannot guarantee anthing on the report.

hi jon,
just a rough idea of alkilinity would do for now.
i don't have any crs only dls, but i'll definitely be using camden tabs for the water this time. tcp isn't good for any beer style. may have to use citric to bring down the ph.

I've seen a figure of 290 or so for Arlesford which isn't too far from you. I'm just down the road from Jon and use about 300 in my calculations.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I would be interested in seeing that water report, even though its a bit out of date.
I got a couple of PDF's from South East water that seem to tell me everything but alkalinity and hardness.....its all greek to me
Cheers

Hi Scarer
My local water supplier(Welsh Water) told me that they do not have to supply these figures by law.(alkalinity and hardness)
After a couple of e-mails explaining why I needed these figures, they were very helpful.
Just need to sweet talk them a little.
Cheers
