Water Filter

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

any filter which has the carbon stuff in it does the trick, takes out chlorine, organic taste, bits of rust etc. I think they're called GAC, granulated active carbon or summat.

I get mine from H&G, you can get one that pushes onto your tap or a one that takes a pipe either end.

If you wanted a more permanent fitting, check out this link.
http://www.pozzani.co.uk/water-filters- ... _info.html I have recently fitted this, it is nice quality and works very well. You will need a BC600 filter cartridge, not the one that comes with the kit, as this removes too much good stuff via ion exchange. I don't pretend to know what that means, but i know it's not good.

This kit will deliver 3l/min. There is a cheaper kit that delivers 1.5l/min

There are plenty of other manufacturers selling similar kits, but I thought this was the best value.
