Run out of CRS!

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Run out of CRS!

Hi folks,

I've just found i've got no CRS.

I have Citric acid, seem to remember that doesn't work for reducing carbonate? Water has temporary hardness only, but don't want to spend hours filtering water in a jug filter...

Can anyone suggest a suitable alternative to soften my brewing liquor for tomorrow?
