Bottled water - campden needed?

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Bottled water - campden needed?

Post by Shoit » Sat Oct 04, 2008 5:11 pm

I'm planning on trying bottled water for my next brew - is there any point in using a campden or is it not needed with bottled water?

Thanks in advance.

No, because the campden tablet is to remove chlorine and bottled water has no chlorine in it.
