Brewday is tomorrow and as usual i have ran out of time as im supposed to be going into london for the evening very soon! so rather than trawl through loads of posts i though id call upon the kind people here to save my ass.
I just did the salifert test and used the whole syringe but got a change just at the end so 5.71meq/L x 50 = 285.5 ppm
just checking i got it right but GWs water treatment program says to treat 30L of water is 34. 8 ml of CRS??? sounds a lot to me but hey
so questions are:
A) does that sound right
B) do i do it tonight or tomorrow morning
C) do i add 1 or half a campden tablet tonight?
please help a lazy man in a rush!
(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!
