Peparing liqour in advance

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Peparing liqour in advance

Post by crafty john » Sun Jan 29, 2012 1:23 pm

Hi all
I always brew on a Tuesday and prepare my liquor the night before, this can sometimes cause problems with family life as I only have a 23 litre boiler so I have to do it in two batches. I was thinking of preparing my liquor on a Sunday when I have more spare time on my hands, my question is how long in advance can I get away with preparing my liquor without it causing any problems if any.

Thanks guys

Swiller

I always brew on a Thursday and prepare 2 x 23 litre containers of liquor the weekend before.
Never been a problem for me as long as the containers are clean ( it all gets boiled for 90 mins anyway)
