Polyclar and finings

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Polyclar and finings

Post by alix101 » Sat Mar 30, 2013 8:29 am

Ok I've been reading about polyclar, from what the manufacture says it does everything but pick the newspaper up :D
Am I correct in thinking its plastic, :?: so you don't want it in a bottle so if your using a conical you wait for it to drop and then remove.
The addition instructions on the web site seemed complicated (adding through an inline dosage system) how do people add it.
It also says it can increase shelf life, but isingglass has the opposite effect so used together what are thee consequences.
And finally what is the general opinion of the product is it as amazing as, claimed.
"Everybody should belive in something : and I belive I'll have another drink".
