Hi,
Just wondering if anyone stores water treated the Graham Wheeler way?
As the method itself takes a couple of hours, I was wondering if the treated water could be stored for about a week or 2 in the cube and then simply heated to the mashing in Temperature?
Thanks.

Re: Storing treated water
Depends what you're treating it with. Salts should be added to the grist, not the water. The only thing I would add directly to the mash water are acids to reduce alkalinty and campden tablets to de-chlorinate.paz1 wrote:Hi,
