Sorry I didn't reply earlier. The Robust Porter tasted of strong roasted and coffee notes, the alcohol was quite discernible. It was somewhat rough and astringent. This brew would have benefitted from a long maturation of at least six months, preferably in the bottle or a cask. I believe this maturation would have smoothed out some of the roughness. Nevertheless, a decent brew, and the strongest porter/stout I've ever brewed. :beer
