If you don't mind paying a little more, HopShop can't be faulted IMO. If they matched the prices of H+G / Leyland, they'd sell more stuff than them, I suspect.

The Hop Shop will send out any quantity of Grain you want. I ordered 10Kg in 5Kg lots and this was dispatched without question, not just the 500g, 3kg or 25kg sizes on their website. You just have to ring them and ask!!
Always had good service from them.

I forgot to add in my other post that I think John at the Hop & Grape is very reactive in his equipment stocking and IMO has the best array of equipment presently available in any shop in the UK

I like leylandhomebrew.com... been to the shop - great people, service is fine
Barley Bottom is also excellent - nicer than buying from a shop tbh

And the winner is...
Hop Shop
29 items (including over 30kg malt) arrived from Hop Shop at around 2pm today (monday). Still waiting to hear from H&G about payment.

). I gave them my payment details and they will ship my items (only 3) today.

Hi,
Thanks for the order.
Due to the volume of orders received we are taking 2-3 days longer than normal to get orders despatched. If you have a deadline you require your order by please let us know.
Because of a problem that keeps occurring with some orders, that our web site people can’t solve, we did not receive your payment details. They have been ‘bounced’ back to you.
When your order is ready for despatch I will ‘phone for the payment details or if you have a deadline you need the order by please let me know.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Haven't heard from Hopshop yet (I'm assuming no news is good news).
I've had that e-mail from H&G every single time i've ordered off them and never had an order come through as a whole! not using them again unless i have to!!

I've never had that particular email, but have had one saying that they are very busy. I just plead that I get such a limited opportunity to brew that I need the order asap (I generally give a date , In fact I generally order well in advance of any brewing), and I normally recive the order before the planned brew and as one lot . . . . Well two or three parcels in one delivery (50Kg of grain

)
