Hi all, im a bit new to this malarky!
I was directed to this site from a guy that i know via another forum.
Ok..my first problem is that i can't find anywhere cool enough to store my brew

It would have been fine when i was in the UK, but we have just moved out to Australia, so trying to find anywhere in the house below 23 / 24 degs (except the fridge) is proving impossible.
Any ideas or tips?
I have tried keeping the fermenter in a big sink etc but still can't get it below about 24 degs. We got in tonight and it was at 30 degs

Will this affect the brew at all? I used the hydrometer earlier and it seems to have reached 10 (or whatever!?? There is a green line that shows when ready!) but this is only after 4 days. Does that sound ok?
