Lazy Brewery Cromwell Bitter

As I've got another day off I thought I'd fit in one more brew pre Christmas. It's straight out of the Marc Ollosson book and chosen by SWMBO for it's low alcohol content. It's also going into the last pressurized vessel in the house (I know what I want for Christmas now and it's mucho shiny 8) ).

23L

Mash 90 min @ 66c
Boil 90 min

4kg Marris Otter
105g Wheat Malt
105g Crystal Malt

52g Challenger 90min
10g Styrian Golding 15min

1 x Whirfloc

Safale 04

The mash has been on for about 45mins and the temperature is holding nicely.

All finished by 6pm no dramas apart from wifey trying to make pastry in the kitchen at the same time as the boil

Finished @ og 1.042 which is slightly higher than the original 1.037 but I couldn't be arsed to top up as I had already gleaned 23L out of the boiler.

Daab, I'm no longer a brew machine. This was all for Christmas, New Year and beyond so hopefully I'll be back to being lazy for the next couple of months :D
