secondary fermentation - how long?
Just about finished primary on my fixby, gonna do secondary in a keg, then bottle. 11 days primary, planning on fining in the keg. how long do y'all reckon?.
I started a "muntons gold old english bitter" last Sunday and noticed they recommend (paraphrased) "a secondary fermenter, transfer 2-3 days after vigorous fermentation to avoid yeast bite".DaaB wrote:more recent thinking suggests leaving it on the yeast (up to a point) is considered beneficial
