Ive just put my youngs bitter into the pressure barrel, ive added 50g of sugar, but can i add anything else to flavour the beer.
A friend of mine who worked at john Smiths at Tadcaster said they used to add liccorice to certain beers to add flavour and colour.
if so how do i add the stuff, what i was thinking of was gewtting some of the liccorice bits out of a bag of allsorts and mixing with water until dissolved then adding to the beer. Would that be ok, it wouldnt make the finished product cloudy would it?
Anything else that i could have, just to add flavour or extra colour to the finished beer.
