Pop's Stout..as Highly recommended by ECR and many others on this group.
I,ve modified the grain bill slightly as I could not get hold of any Carapils, and I prefer a slightly weaker brew, so I'm aiming for 4.5-5% ABV.
Brew length 40 litres.
7.0kg Maris Otter Pale
2.0kg Crystal Malt
1.0kg Flaked Barley
1.0kg Roasred Barley
0.5kg Chocolate malt
0.4kg Black (patent) malt
150g Hallertau 3%
50g Fuggle 4.5%
Both added during boil (60min)
Whirflock tabs 2 at 10mins.
